Cold wave may dwindle Monday

Met office on Sunday said current cold wave condition is likely to abate at some more places by tomorrow (Monday) morning.

Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the regions of Satkhira, Jessore, Kushtia, Tangail, Madaripur and Gopalgonj, said the met office release.

Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning and it may continue at some places till noon while weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country, it added BSS reports.

Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country during the period.

Minimum temperature of the country was recorded 7.2 degree Celsius today at Jessore in Khulna and maximum temperature at 25.7 degrees Celsius at Cox’s Bazar in Chittagong division on Saturday.

The sun sets at 5:32pm today and rises at 6:44am tomorrow in Dhaka.
