Bourses end with downturn

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended the second trading day of the week with downward trend on Monday.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 486.63 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 6,082 points decreasing 11 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,405 points downed 7 points.

The DS30 index also decreasing 11 points to stand 2,244 points.

Of the issues traded today, 108 advanced, 183 declined and 44 remained unchanged.

In Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE), turnover stood at Tk 20 crore.

Selective Category Index - CSCX - decreased 17 points to stand at around 18,806 points.

Of the issues traded, 101 gained, 110 declined and 30 remained unchanged.
