15 students, hall provost injured in SAU BCL infighting

A total of 15 students and a Hall Provost received injuries during a factional clash between two groups of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) on Monday.
SAU sources said two groups of the university unit BCL locked in a clash over establishing supremacy on the campus at around 11:00am.
During the clash, more than 15 students received injuries while Sher-e-Bangla Hall Provost Prof Dr Hasanuzzaman Akand received head injuries from a pelted brick chip.
Several rooms of Sher-e-Bangla Hall and Kazi Nazrul Hall were also vandalized at that time.
When contacted, SAU Proctor Prof Dr Forhad Hossain said, "We've urged the authorities form a probe body in this regard."
