Housewife’s body recovered in Jamalpur

JAMALPUR, Feb 13: Police recovered the body of a housewife in Islampur upazila of the district on Tuesday morning.
The victim was identified as Asma Begum, 48, wife of late Abdur Rashid at Sinnarchar village in Chinaduly union of the upazila.
Being informed, police rushed to the spot and recovered Asma's body from her room at around 11 am.
The hands and legs of the body were tied by ropes and they suspected that unknown miscreants killed her by suffocating, police sources said.
Police sent the body to Jamalpur General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
