Music director Ali Akbar Rupu is famous for his songs in the popular magazine show Ittyadi. The musician was admitted to United Hospital on February 12 after his health conditions deteriorated severely due to both heart and brain problems. He has been kept at ICU.
Doctors have informed that Akbar's condition has become very complicated and risky to handle, as treatment of heart is causing problems in the brain. In the same way if doctors decide to attend to his brain problems first, his heart starts going severe. Ali Akbar Rupu has been suffering from coronary problems for more than two years now. In 2015 stent was implanted on his heart at the United Hospital.
Akbar's daughter informed that her father on February 12 fell down after suffering a swoon after returning to office. He was initially admitted to Ibn Sina Hospital then shifted to United Hospital.
