Khaleda’s lawyers yet to get certified copy of verdict

Though six days have been passed, lawyers of Khaleda Zia are yet to get the certified copy of the judgement of Zia Orphanage Trust corruption case against the BNP chief, as it was not ready to deliver.
Khlaleda's lawyer Advocate Sanaullah Miah expected that they will get the certified copy of the judgement today (Thursday). He also said to this correspondent that they will file appeal before the High Court on Sunday.
A special court on February 8 sentenced Khaleda to five years' rigorous imprisonment, her son Tarique Rahman and four others to 10 years' rigorous imprisonment and slapped a fine of Tk 2.10 crore.
Now three times Prime Minister Khaleda is in old Dhaka's Special Jail after a Dhaka court sentenced her to five years of imprisonment in the Zia Orphanage Trust Graft Case on February 08.
