691 students get stipend in Manikganj

MANIKGANJ, Feb 14: At least 691 students of Manikganj National Polytechnic Institute (NPI) got stipend from World Bank under its Skills and Training Enhancement Project.
In this connection, a stipend awarding function was held at the institute's auditorium on Tuesday morning where Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mamun Sarder was present as chief guest.
Principal of Manikganj NPI Md Shamsur Rahman presided over the function while Manager of Agrani Bank Ltd, Manikganj Bus Stand Branch Md Rafiqul Islam, General Manager of Rising Group Engineer Md Sayedul Islam, former president of Bangladesh Polytechnic Teachers' Samity Nirmal Chandra Sarker, General Secretary of Manikganj Press Club Biplob Chakraborty, and Assistant GS Shahidul Islam Sujan were present as special guests.
Director of Manikganj NPI Mohammad Faruk Hossen conducted the programme.
