Stocks end week with downward trend

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended the last trading day of the week with downward trend in both indices and turnover on Thursday.

In Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 454.41 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,366 points decreasing 32 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached at 1,238 points downed 7 points.

The DS30 index also declining 15 points to stand 1,978 points.

Of the issues traded today, 108 advanced, 171 declined and 59 remained unchanged.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) also stood at Tk 20.20 crore today.

Selective Category Index - CSCX - declined 121 points to stand 16,549 points.

Of the issues traded, 74 gained, 103 declined and 33 remained unchanged.
