Farjana Khanum has proved that it is possible to build dynamic career from a very rural area in Bangladesh. She took admission at Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU). She completed B.A Honors and M.A in English Language and Literature from JKKNIU with secured first position in both degrees. Now, she is also enrolled for her higher studies (M.Phil) at Jahangirnagar University, and also is working as the faculty member in English at Ishakha International University Bangladesh. Moreover, Farjana Khanum is one of the top rated freelancers on world's best freelancing market, Upwork, Odesk.
Regarding her career plan she said, "I have special motivation for teaching and I believe that teaching should be a profession by choice not by chance. To me, when a teacher passes time with his/her students, he/she forgets the anxieties, pains and pangs of life. Teaching is the only profession that gives opportunity to give and receive unconditional love. I have got inspiration and love from my teachers, especially from the Department of English Language and Literature, JKKNIU. I am really grateful to them because they have nurtured my dream. I also try to love my students unconditionally." She wants to lead her life as a teacher.
