Three day drama festival held at TSC auditorium

The three-day Dhaka University Natya Sangsad Natyautsab concluded on September 12 with staging of Telescope staged by an Indian troupe Anandan Theatre at Dhaka University's TSC auditorium.  The Dhaka University Natya Sangsad, the only platform of the university's students' theatre practice, always stages their acclaimed productions.
The festival that had earlier featured Kittankhola by Jahangirnagar University and Kaak Charitra by the host troupe Dhaka University Drama Troupe got huge responses from the Dhaka University students and students from different schools, colleges and universities.
Dhaka University Drama Troupe's general secretary Rafiqul Islam Sabuj said they received astonishing supports from the students and they had planned to hold a bigger festival next year.
Last year, they traveled India with their maiden production. The troupe staged in North Bengal's (India) Jhargram, where they staged their production "Kakcharitra" on the closing day of the 'Anandan Natyamela 2017'.
