Khadija becomes first Tigress to haul fifer
Off-spinner of the Bangladesh women's national cricket team Khadija Tul Kubra wrote her name in the cricket history of the country hauling five wickets in an international match.
She picked-up six wickets against Pakistan women's team in the solitary ODI of the series on Monday at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium in Cox's Bazar. Khadija spent 20 runs delivering 9.5 overs to prey six Pakijas, which is not only the career best bowling figure for her but the best ever spell for an individual Tigress.
The previous best bowling figure had been occupied by Tigress ODI skipper Rumana Ahmed. Rumana took four wickets giving 20 runs away against India in 2013. Khadija also hauled four wickets couple of occasions before and both against South Africa in 2017 for the costs of 33 and 56 runs respectively.
The devastating Kubra, however, bring her team back to the winning streak after 3-0 sweep against visiting side in the four-match T20i series.
Winning the toss Pakistan elected to bat first and were all-out for 94 runs only. Besides Khadija, Captain Rumana Ahmed took two wickets for Bangladesh. Tigresses reached the convincing winning post losing four wickets with 126 balls to spare. Fargana Haque was the top scorer with 48 runs while Rumana, like her bowling figure, had collected 34 runs for the winning side.

The defending Asian champions, thus, regained them after T20i whitewash disgrace. This win must boost up them before the commencement of their ICC Women's World T20i Cup 2018 mission, which will be staged from November 9 to 24 in the Windies.
