Frustrated teacher ‘kills self’ in Satkhira

SATKHIRA, Oct 10: A teacher of a high school has allegedly committed suicide by taking poison after failing to get his name in the monthly pay order (MPO) list. The deceased was identified as Bidhan Chandra Ghosh, 42, an assistant teacher of Computer of Senergati Girls' High School and son of Mrinal Kanti Ghosh of Daulatpur village. Shahidul Islam, assistant teacher of the school, said Bidhan took poison on Tuesday night as he did not find his name in the MPO list. Later, he was taken to Sadar Hospital where he died around 8:00pm.
