Indices in both stocks decline

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended the first trading day of the week on Sunday with downturn.

On the premier bourse, turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 539.32 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,238 points decreasing 19 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached 1,211 points declining 4 points.

The DS30 index decreasing 12 points to stand at 1,852 points.

Of the issues traded today, 142 advanced, 159 declined and 34 remained unchanged.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) stood at Tk 25.97 crore today.

Selective Category Index - CSCX - lessened 85 points stood at 16,076 points.

Of the issues traded, 123 gained, 91 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
