Bourses witness fall

Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) ended the second trading day of the week on Monday with downturn.

On the premier bourse, turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 538.20 crore.

The DSEX in the country's main bourse stood at 5,224 points decreasing 14 points.

The DSE Shariah Index (DSES) reached 1,204 points declining 6 points.

The DS30 index decreasing 4 points to stand at 1,848 points.

Of the issues traded today, 125 advanced, 153 declined and 61 remained unchanged.

Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) stood at Tk 20.78 crore today.

Selective Category Index - CSCX - lessened 74 points stood at 16,015 points.

Of the issues traded, 82 gained, 120 declined and 35 remained unchanged.
