Senior government officials, now in Athens to probe  the sexual harassment of a woman allegedly by Bangladesh Ambassador to Greece Golam Mohammad, have has failed to contact the complainant, which may likely to delay the investigation process, a foreign office source said  Monday.
Complainant Laila Antipas, a Bangladesh-origin Greek resident, has not responded to repeated phone calls on her mobile phone by the probe committee members, the source said.
The probe body was informed by the International Organisation of Migration (IOM) mission in the Greek capital that Laila was an interpreter at the IOM office.
The three-member probe body headed by Rear Admiral (rtd) Md Khurshed Alam, Secretary of Maritime Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,  reached Athens on Saturday.
In the complaint Laila claimed that her husband lives outside Greece. The ambassador took the opportunity to invite the women at his official residence when his (Golam Mohammad) wife was also not in Athens. The ambassador allegedly made sexual advances on his female guest.
