A man was crushed under the wheels of a state-run BRTC bus in city’s Tejgaon area on Monday morning.

The dead was identified as Ali Akkas, 35.

SI Rajibul Islam of Tejgaon Police Station, said the accident occurred when the bus driver lost his control over the steering around 7am, leaving Akkas dead on the spot.

Police arrested the bus driver.
