Govt believes in freedom of judiciary, press: Nasim

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim on Thursday said the government has full respect to the law of the country. He said this while addressing as chief guest at the 7th anniversary programme of a local newspaper named Pirojpurer Kotha at the National Press Club on Thursday. "The current government is journalist friendly. We believe in freedom of press and judicial departments. We are trying to solve the problem of journalists across the country. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has given donation to the injured journalists recently," said the minister Prominent Magician Juwel Aice, Smakal Editor Golam Sarwar, Press Institute of Bangladesh DG Shah Alamgir, Protrhom Alo West Bengal Correspondent Amar Shaha, Pirojpur Press Club Secretary Faisal Islam, Journalist Khalid Abu spoke at the event while Pirojpur Press Club President Shafikul Hauqe Mithu presided over the function.
