
His second Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Baitul Mukarram Mosque in the capital.

Moulana Salauddin Ahmed conducted prayer after janaza.
Meanwhile, the first namaj-e-janaza of Piash Karim was held at Baitul Aman Mosque as per the wish of the family.

On October 13, Piash Karim, died of cardiac arrest around 3:am at his Dhanmondi residence.
Piash Karim is survived by wife Amena Mohsin, a professor at Dhaka University’s International Affairs Department, and one son.
Hailing from Comilla, Piash Karim was also known as Manjur Karim. He obtained his PhD in Sociology from Kansas State University, USA.
According to the BRAC University website, his specializations include Political Economy, Political Sociology, Nationalism and Social Theory.
