Regarding this he said, "Yes, spin is going to be a threat to us. Heeding the first Test our preparation is good. Our batsmen can bat well in this condition. They have couple of good series here."
Both the teams plying three-match Test series after a long time. In Test fitness is very important. About the fitness to play three-match series Taylor said, "We do not play a three-match Test over 12 years. But the players are physically fit. You cannot play without fitness. That is why this is a Test match. Things are not easy. But we love to do our job."
Zimbabwe also has some good spinners but in the international arena they are inexperienced. How the visitors deal with spin? To answer the question he said, "Of course in spinning condition you have to depend on spin. We have a couple of good experienced seamers who can reverse the ball very well. They could be an asset to us. We also have some spinners. Though they are internationally inexperienced, they have the experience of first class level and that could be an advantage for us."
The touring skipper also said he would not wicket-keeping in the Test.
