
Azam, who received 90-years imprisonment for committing crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War Bangladesh, was buried beside his father's grave at aout 3:30pm.
Azam's elder son Abdullahil Aman Azmi, who led the funeral prayers, said his father's janaza and burial was held properly.
"Huge people joined my father's namaz-e-janaza, but my expatriate brothers could not participate as they were denied visas by the British government," said Azmi.
War criminal Ghulam Azam died Thursday night at the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital.
