A Dhaka court on Thursday indicted former Dhaka city mayor and BNP Leader Sadeque Hossain Khoka in a corruption case filed by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) for amassing wealth worth Tk9.96 crore illegally and concealing information of wealth statement. The judge of the Senior Special Judges Court of Dhaka, Mohammad Johurul Haque framed the charges in the afternoon. After framing the charges, the Senior Special Judge Court fixed November 16 for beginning trial. The BNP vice-chairman could not appear in the court as he is abroad now for treatment purpose.
