Ganajagaran Mancha has demanded immediate execution of International Crimes Tribunal's (ICT-1) verdict on Monday that awarded capital punishment to former 'Razakar' commander and Brahmanbaria Awami League leader Mobarak Hossain. Mobarak was awarded death penalty for killing, abduction and torture during the country's War of Independence in 1971. In his post-verdict reaction, Mancha spokesperson Dr Imran H Sarkar said, "Mobarak gave shelter to the occupational Pakistani military by grabbing Hindu temples, among other things, which ultimately led to the capital punishment. We're elated to have desired justice in the case at long last."
