Two drug peddlers arrested in Comilla

COMILLA, Nov 25: Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested two drug peddlers along with 40 bottles of Indian contraband phensidyl from Shasidal village under Brahmanpara upazila of the district on Sunday.
The arrested person are Ikram Hossain, 35, son of Abdul Zabbar of Ranir Bazar area under Comilla Sadar upazila of the district and Md Dalim, 26, son of Jashim Uddin of Alishardi village under Bandar upazila in Narayanganj district.
Office-in-Charge (OC) of Brahmanpara police station Uttam Kumar Barua said, Shasidal Border Outpost (BOP) Habilder Monir Hossain recovered phensidyl from the area at around 3:00pm.
The seized goods were later handed over to the Comilla customs office.
A case was filed in this connection.
