CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Nov 25: With a view to providing free eye care services, an eye camp was held at Moharajpur union parishad (UP) premises under Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila on Monday. More than 200 eye patients were provided health services free of cost in the day-long camp. Two non-governmental organisations, Proyas Manobik Unnayan Society and Palli Karmo Sahayok Foundation jointly organised the camp. A team of seven doctors led by ophthalmologist Babul Hossain of the Jatyo Andhya Kallyan Samity, Chapainawabganj branch, provided treatment to 200 poor patients. Earlier, a simple function was held on the occasion at the conference room of the Moharajpur UP.
