NOAKHALI, Nov 25: Police revered the body of an aged woman wrapped in a sack from a pond behind a school at Bajra union under Sonaimuri upazila of the district on Tuesday noon.
The deceased was identified as Firoza Begum, 65, wife of Shafi Ullah of Purbachadpur village under Bajra union of Sonaimuri upazila.
Locals said on Tuesday at about 12pm they spotted a body wrapped in a sack floating on the pond behind Bajra Multipurpose High School and informed police. Police went to the spot and recovered the body.
