Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) has banned Lutfar Rahman Badal, chairman of Premier Division Cricket Club 'Legends of Rupganj' from all kinds of cricket activities for his alleged derogatory remarks against the BCB top officials.

On December 4, Lutfar Rahman Badal made some comments against Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hasan Papon MP and other top board officials in front of various media.

Following the comments, three cricket organizations including Dhaka Premier Division Club Association, Cricketers' Welfare Association of Bangladesh and Umpire and Scorer Association demanded banning Badal’s club.

Beside, Joint General Secretary of the Legends of Rupganj Tariqul Islam Tito has also been suspended for the same reason.

Meanwhile, Lutfar Rahman Badal in a statement apologised for his speech.
