Everybody has sleepless nights. It can be either due to excitement, tension or due to fright. Sometimes it can be due to some other reasons also.
Once I had a sleepless night in Shanghai Airport. We were coming back from Japan after a three months trip. We went there because my father had some work there and he took us along with him. We had to change flight in Shanghai and also had to change the airport. We landed on Shanghai at night and took a bus which went directly to the other airport. The bus ride was a fun. Shanghai is a very beautiful place. We had to stay in the airport for the night. We didn't want to stay in an unknown hotel. Anyway, we thought it would be another type of adventure.
We were very hungry that night but we didn't have Chinese currency and in the airport, they didn't take any other currency. We had a packet of chocolates in our handbag, so we ate those and didn't feel thirsty that cold night.
As the night went on, the weather was getting cold even more. We tried to sleep but it was so cold that we were freezing. Although we had overcoats and jackets on us, we took out some shawls, which were kept in a handbag. We covered ourselves with the shawls. The chairs on which we lay down was hard and uncomfortable so we couldn't sleep at all.
I couldn't sleep that night that's why my mood was very bad the next day. We got ready at six as our flight was in seven o'clock in the morning. We washed our hands and faces and boarded the flight. In the flight, I slept very peacefully as it was so comfortable over there. Food during the flight was also very good. Specially, I liked the rice preparation.
Overall, my sleepless night gave me a new experience, which I will never forget in my whole life.
