Mymensingh, Dec 16 : Four of a family member, including a couple and their two daughters, were hacked to death at Labankota village of Bhaluka upazila on Monday midnight.
The dead were identified as Shafiqul Islam Bachchu, general secretary of Habirbari  union unit of Sramik League, his wife Shefali, their two daughters-Jinia, 6, and Husna, 2.
Officer-in-charge Golam Sarwar of Bhaluka Model Thana said, they found the blood-ridden bodies of Bachchu and his wife lying in their bed while the mouths of their two daughters tied with clothes.
They might have been killed any time at night, police said.
