Criticising Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif for his comment, BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Sunday said "BNP with the help of country people will obstruct AL's rally if BNP is not allow to hold rally."

The BNP leader came up with the threat at a press briefing held at its party's Nayapaltan office in the morning.

Rizvi said, "AL will not be able to hold rallies anywhere of the country if BNP does not allow them."

The senior BNP leader also demanded immediate release of Jubo Dal president Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal.

Rizvi said that Sheikh Hasina’s government is not the government of people rather it is the government of criminals.

"The illegal government started unleashing attack on BNP leaders and activists after the announcement of BNP’s hartal," he claimed.

AL Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif on Saturday, at a press conference, said that BNP chief Khaleda zia would not be allowed to hold rally anywhere in the country unless BNP seeks apology for their offensive remarks about Bangabandhu.
