NILPHAMARI, Dec 31: The Dinajpur Education Board authority announced a list of top ten schools in Nilphamari district in this year's Junior School Certificate (JSC) examinations under Dinajpur Education Board on Tuesday.
According to sources, Syedpur Cantonment Public School and College topped the list in 100 per cent success. A total of 149 students scored GPA-5 out of 179 this year. Syedpur Technical School and College secured second place. A total of 642 examinees appeared and all of them came out successful while GPA- 5 recipients are 62. Syedpur Lions School and College stood third. Total 298 of 301 examinees passed and 136 of them obtained GPA-5.
Government Boys High School under Sadar upazila came fourth. 229 examinees took part in the exam and 228 have been passed with 109 GPA-5 recipients. Rani Brinda Rani Government High School under Dimla upazila secured fifth place. All came out successful with 38 GPA-5. Dimla Government Girls' High School stood sixth. Total 70 passed and 28 of them obtained GPA-5. Sunflower School and College is in seventh place. All 123 examinees passed and 53 of them obtained GPA-5. Nilphamari Government Girls' High School obtained eighth place. Some 235 students out of 236 passed and 72 of them obtained GPA-5. Al-Faruq Academy under Syedpur upazila secured ninth place where 204 out of 211 candidates passed with 51  GPA-5 and Kishoregonj Multi-letteral High School under Kishoregonj upazila stood tenth. A total of 204 examinees have passed and 46 examinees of them obtained GPA-5.
