BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has expressed her resentment over Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s remarks made on Monday’s rally at the Suhrawardy Udyan.

Former BNP MP Nilufar Yasmin Moni told journalists after meeting Khaleda Zia at her Gulshan office Monday evening.

Earlier, Nilufar Yasmin Moni, Rasheda Begum Heera and Nadia Jubo Mohila leader Nadia Pathan Papon went to the BNP chief’s office at about 5pm to meet her.

Replying to a question about Khaleda’s departure  from office, Moni said she (Khaleda) did not tell anything about the matter.

Quoting the BNP leader, Moni said, “Khaleda Zia called upon the party leaders and activists to carry on the movement to restore democracy.”

The Prime Minister while addressing a rally at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital city on Monday afternoon, termed Khaleda Zia "queen of militancy, terror and corruption".
