Those creating anarchy won’t be spared: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque on Friday warned that those creating anarchy in the country will not be spared.

Addressing a views-exchange meeting at Mithapukur Girls’ High School
in Mithapukur upazila on resisting terrorism and anarchy, the IGP said the law enforcers together with people will resist any bid to create anarchy in the country.

Shahidul Haque said no evil force will be allowed to carry out criminal activities on Bangladesh soil and urged people to give a befitting reply to these subversive acts, saying that the law enforcement agencies are with them.

Later, the IGP handed over Tk 50,000 to each of the families of three victims of recent arson attack on a bus while Tk 10,000 to an injured one.
