four vegetable traders killed in Narshingdi road accident

Narsingdi – Four vegetable traders were killed and five others injured as a truck overturned at Chaitabo area on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Sadar upazila on Sunday evening.

Three of the deceased were identified as Sattar Miah, Yasin Miah and Saral Miah. Further details about them could not be known yet.

Locals said the Dhaka-bound truck carrying vegetables from Baroicha Bazar in Belabo upazila of the district rolled over in the area around 8:30pm, leaving three of the traders travelling on the truck dead on the spot and six others injured.

One of the injured succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. The other injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital.

Officer-in-charge of Narsingdi Sadar Police Station KM Abul Kashem confirmed the accident.
