The government on Monday blocked three more voice and messaging services-- WhatsApp, mypeople and Line— on security grounds.

Meanwhile, the restriction on Viber and Tango is extended till midnight January 21.

Viber operation resumed for about an hour at noon on Monday, but later it was blocked again.

Earlier on Sunday, the government blocked Viber and Tango-- two popular online based social voice and messaging services-- till January 18 on the same ground.

Internet users can talk and send short messages through Viber and Tango without spending additional money.

The move was taken following violence during the nonstop countrywide blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-party alliance since January 5.
