SANAA, Jan 19 : A ceasefire took effect in the Yemeni capital on Monday, ending hours of fighting between Shiite militia and troops near the presidential palace and in other parts of Sanaa, a security official said.
The ceasefire was agreed during a meeting of a representative of the Huthi militia with the defence and interior ministers.     ?AFP
