BARISAL, Jan 20: Unidentified people set fire to two launches at Barisal terminal on Tuesday evening. The fires were put out with fire extinguisher.
The launch authorities of Sundarban-7, a passenger ferry operating on Dhaka-Barisal route, said miscreants set fire to the room 316 of the vessel when it was leaving the terminal around 8:45pm.
Meanwhile, the room 101 of Parabat-10, another launch, was set afire by unidentified people just before it was to leave for Dhaka, the launch authorities said. Launch employees extinguished the fire immediately.
