Gazipur: A devastating fire that broke out at a textile mill at Konabari area on Saturday morning, is now under control after seven hours of frantic efforts.

Earlier in the morning, a fire broke out at the warehouse of Kadir Synthetic Factory around 7am.

On information, 10 fire-fighting units rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Later, six more fire fighting units went to the spot.

The reason behind the fire could not be known.

The extent of damage caused by the fire could not be estimated.
