Eduvista DeskDaffodil International University (DIU) celebrated its 13th foundation anniversary in a befitting manner on Saturday. To mark the day, a cake cutting programme was held at the university auditorium, says a press release.
Prof M Lutfar Rahman, vice chancellor of the university, was present as chief guest on the occasion. Among others, Prof M Golam Rahman, pro vice-chancellor, Emeritus Prof Aminul Islam, founder vice chancellors; SM Mahbub-Ul-Haque Majumder, controller of examinations, Prof Md Golam Mowla Choudhury, proctor, deans and heads of the different faculties and departments and high officials of the university were present.
The ceremonial programme of the 13th founding anniversary will be held on February 14, at Ashulia permanent campus where 15,000 students will take part in a daylong programme, including bus rally, games and sports, musical soiree and many other colourful events.
