BNP Standing Committee member Nazrul Islam Khan on Thursday night said no decision has been taken to withdraw blockade or not during SSC examinations.
“A liaison committee of BNP-led 20-party alliance would take the decision on blockade during SSC examinations,” Nazrul Islam told the reporters after coming out BNP chairperson’s Gulshan office. The SSC examinations are scheduled to begin on February 2.
Nazrul Islam said, "We came to convey sympathy to Khaleda Zia who lost her younger son Arafat Rahman Koko on Saturday". "We did not discuss any political matter," he added.
Six members of BNP Standing Committee entered Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office on Thursday evening.
They are: Dr R A Gani, Barrister Moudud Ahmed, Dr. Abdul Moin Khan, Barrister Rafiqul Islam Miah, Nazrul Islam Khan and Begum Sarowari Rahman.
The senior BNP leaders entered in the office in between 7:00pm to 8:00pm one after another.
