President of Bikolpo Dhara Bangladesh (BDB) AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury on Saturday urged Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to quit for the sake of peace in the country. "The country is on the brink of a civil war? Where will we go if a civil war breaks out? You (Hasina) will have to remove disorder as you're holding the chair of the Prime Minister. We want peace in the country. You please quit for ensuring peace for people," he said. The BDB chief made the call while addressing a rally in front of Bangladesh Krishak Sramik Janata League's central office at Motijheel, marking the party's 16th founding anniversary. Mentioning that dialogue is the only way to overcome the current political crisis in the country, he said, "You must sit in talks to restore peace.
