BSF hands over bodies of two Bangladeshis

Jhenaidah: Indian Border Security Force returned the bodies of two Bangladeshi cattle traders after a flag meeting on Thursday night.  

Jessore Border Guard Bangladesh-26 battalion commander Jahangir Hossain led the meeting on behalf of Bangladesh while Krishnagar BSF sector commander DIG DK Pramanik led the Indian side.  

The meeting was held at commander level between BSF and BGB at Labutala frontier on Thursday noon under Moheshpur upazila of the district.

Post mortem of both the bodies was conducted at Bongaun hospital under the custody of Indian police.

The bodies were handed over to the respective families of the deceased on Thursday night.

BSF shot dead two cattle traders along Lebutala border in Moheshpur upazila early Wednesday.

The dead were identified as Aminur Rahman, 28, son of Miaraj of Jululi village, and Foyez Ahmed, 32, son of Shahadat Hossain of Lebutala village, in Moheshpur upazila.
