The Public Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday submitted its annual report-2014 to President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban in the capital.
The report was handed over to the President when a 15-member delegation of PSC led by its Chairman Ekram Ahmed called on him at Bangabhaban.
During the meeting, the delegation apprised the President of the various activities of the commission as well as aspects of the report, President's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said.
They informed the President that the commission took 215 examinations including BCS examinations in 2014, of which 156 exam results were published.
Transparency and acceptability of PSC have been enhanced compared to the past, they added.
The PSC delegation also briefed the President on some problems faced by the commission.
Abdul Hamid expressed his satisfaction over the activities of the PSC and assured them of his total cooperation towards resolving their problems.    ?UNB
