Bangladeshi shot dead by BSF on Kurigram border

Kurigram: A Bangladeshi cattle trader was shot dead allegedly by the members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) along Khalishakotal border in Phulbari upazila early Friday.

The deceased was identified as Shyamal Chandra Baddoker, 32.

Two other cattle traders were also injured in the BSF shooting.

Witnesses said, patrol team of BSF opened fire on a group of cattle traders while they crossing Khalishakotal frontier around 6am, leaving Shyamol dead on the spot and two others injured.

45-BGB camp commanding officer Shafiul Alam confirmed the matter.
