Our Correspondent MOULVIBAZAR, Feb 28: The teachers and students at Rajnagor upazila in the district brought out a silent procession and wore black-badge to protest the alleged killing of a student. The deceased student was identified as Sheikh Rayhan, 14, son of Saudi Arab expatriate Seliur Rahman of Daksin Kharpara village of the upazila and also a student of class 9 of Rajnagor Ideal High School. Locals, police and school sources said, Rayhan went to a Waj-Mahfil near his home with one of his neighbour, Jahed Miah, in the evening on Thursday. As he did not return home, family members searched for him at night but could not find him. On Friday, police recovered the body of Rayhan from a paddy field at Sharompur village of Panchgawon union of the upazila and sent it to Moulvibazar 250-bed hospital morgue for an autopsy. Police also nabbed Jahed Miah, 22, and a micro-bus driver Rubel Miah, 23, in this connection for interrogation.
