A Dhaka court on Wednesday adjourned till April 5 the hearing of the Zia Orphanage and Zia Charitable trust graft cases against BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia.
Third Metropolitan Special Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar set the date.
BNP chief, who is facing arrest warrant in two graft cases, did not appear before the makeshift court at Bakshibazar area in the capital today.
Earlier in the morning, BNP chief's lawyer filed two petitions with the court of 3rd Metropolitan Special Judge Abu Ahmed Jamadar seeking withdrawal of the arrest warrants issued against her earlier in Zia Orphanage Trust and Zia Charitable graft cases.
On February 25, a Dhaka court issued an arrest warrant against Khaleda in the two graft cases.
