The SSC and equivalent examinations  scheduled Sunday and Tuesday have been postponed again following extension of 20-party's nationwide hartal by 72 hours.

Subodh Chandra Dhali, an official of the  Ministry, said new dates for the exams will be announced later.

The education ministry had to defer 14 days of exams and announce fresh dates because of the BNP-led 14-party alliance's nonstop hartal on weekdays.

Around 1.5 million students from 27,808 educational institutions are taking this year’s SSC exams.
