The Detective Branch of Police submitted charge- sheet against the eight accused on January 28 last year.
The seven charge-sheeted accused are expelled students of North South University and the rest one is Ansarullah Bangla Team chief Mufti Jashim Uddin Rahmani.
The expelled NSU students are Faisal Bin Nayeem alias Deep, 22, Maksudul Hassan Anik, 23, Ehsan Reza Rumman, 23, Nayeem Sikder Irad, 19, Nafis Imtiaz, 22, Sadman Yasir Mahmud, 20, and Rezwanul Azad Rana, 30.
