Man killed over land dispute

RANGPUR, Mar 11: A man was allegedly killed over dispute by the opponents in Silimpur Bhurarghat area under Sadar Upazila here on last night.
The man was identified as Ali Akbar, 35.
Two persons Enamul and Sohel were also seriously injured in the incident, said Rangpur Medical College Hospital sources. 
Abdul Qader Jilani, OC of Rangpur Kotwali Police Station confirmed the matter saying that Ali Akbar, Enamul and Sohel came under attack by the opponents, with whom they had a previous enmity over a piece of land, in the area where Akbar died on the spot and the others received injuries.
Later, police recovered Ali Akbar's body and sent it to Rangpur Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
