Gaibandha: At least two people were killed and six others injured in a collision between a specialized vehicle and a truck on Gaibandha-Palashbari Road at Goyalpara area of Palashbari upazila in the district on Wednesday.

Police said the accident took place when a Bhatbhati collided head on with a Palashbari bound truck in the area around 2:00pm, leaving two passengers dead on the spot and six others wounded.

The injured were sent to Gaibandha Sadar Hospital for treatment.
