Bangladesh's glorious World Cup journey ended on March 19 when they lost to India in the quarter-final, the only controversial match of the World Cup 2015. On the way to reach in the quarter-final Mahmudullah and Mushfiq played the key role and Mashrafe called them as the Man of the Tournament for Bangladesh.
After the end of the World Cup, Mahmudullah is at the ninth position in the list of most run scorers while Mushfiq also at the same position in the list of most dismissals.
Mahmudullah scored 365, highest by a Bangladeshi in a World Cup, with two consecutive centuries. His best score was 128 against New Zealand. MJ Guptill (NZ) is leading the table with 547 runs.
Mushfiq had eight dismissals with seven catch and one stamping. Mushfiq also did well with the bat scoring 298 with a highest of 89 against England.
